Can I wear this in heavy rain?
It's water-resistant, not waterproof. It handles drizzle, showers, and a wet commute well. For a long downpour, bring an umbrella too.
Does the drawstring waist stay tied?
Yes. Pull it as tight or loose as you like and it holds. You can also leave it fully loose for a straight, relaxed look.
Will it fit over a sweater?
It's cut relaxed through the body and shoulders with room for a mid-weight sweater underneath.
Can I pack it in a bag?
