Susan and Anne have been friends for longer than either of them will admit. Susan is the practical one. She sewed for a living for twenty years and she cannot look at a jacket without checking the shoulder seam. Anne has the eye. Colour, proportion, what goes with what. She will tell you the truth about a print.
They opened a small shop for women their age because, at 55, nothing fit anymore. Too short. Too tight. Cut for a 25-year-old body. Or "comfortable" and, frankly, ugly. So they did the one thing nobody else does: they measure.
Every piece that comes into the shop gets tried on real women. Then it gets measured, flat, with a tape. Bust, shoulder, length, sleeve, inseam. The numbers go on the page, in inches and centimetres, so you can compare with what already fits you at home.
This site is the same shop, online, with the same rule: the truth about the size before you buy. Every product page has the measurements, a fit note written by one of us, and a free size exchange if we still got it wrong.
No models half our age. No "one size fits most." Just clothes that fit, and two women who checked.
