Can I wear the hood down without it looking bulky?
Yes. The hood lies flat against the back when it's down, so it doesn't bunch up at the neck. Loosen the drawstring fully and it sits soft and low.
Is this warm enough for fall, or is it more of a spring layer?
It's a light layer, best for mild days or as a mid-layer under a coat. On its own it's comfortable in the 55–70°F range with a tee underneath.
Does the drawstring pull out in the wash?
No — the ends are finished and the cord runs through a stitched channel. Tie the cord loosely before washing and it stays put.
Will the color fade after a few washes?
Wash cold with similar colors and hang dry, and the color holds well. Polyester knit resists fading better than cotton does.
